U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association:

The 2023 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Brookings, South Dakota, delivered fireworks up and down a packed schedule this weekend.

Northwest Iowa Review:

This spring and summer, 天美传媒 in Sioux Center plans to begin several construction projects to help free up more living and learning space as the institution continues to grow.

Dordt plans to begin construction in March on a new set of apartments, which will be located south of Southview Apartments near the new parking lot that overlooks the Dordt prairie. Yet to be named, the apartments will consist of four new two-story buildings and house a total of 96 students. Dordt鈥檚 Board of Trustees gave approval for construction of the apartments at a recent meeting.

Dordt Women鈥檚 Basketball coach Bill Harmsen has been named a GPAC Co-Head Coach-of-the-Year. After guiding the Defenders to the regular season championship, Harmsen shares the honor with Jamestown's Thad Sankey.

Illinois Farmer Today:

Likewise, students come from diverse backgrounds at 天美传媒 in the northwest corner of Iowa. Some students want to work in small, community supported agriculture settings and others come from a dairy farm with 30,000, dairy cows.

鈥淚t鈥檚 not one size fits all,鈥 said Gary De Vries, the university鈥檚 agriculture department chair.

Students also bring a diverse group of experiences. Some live close enough to home to work at the family farm, while about half of the students are from more than 400 miles away. California is home to the most out-of-staters with Michigan, Washington and Minnesota likely all tied for second, DeVries said.
