The community is invited to the piano recital of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ junior Abraham Hall. The free recital will be held on Friday, November 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
Recital repertoire includes Partita No. 6 in E Minor by Bach; Intermezzi, Op. 117 by Brahms; and Piano Sonata No. 30, Op. 109 by Beethoven.
Hall, of Machesney Park, Illinois, is majoring in Biology with a Music Minor. He has studied piano with MaryLou Wielenga since 2021 and is the recipient of the Ringerwole Piano Scholarship. He is also the recipient of the Kay Hotchkiss Organ Scholarship, awarded by the Rockford, Illinois chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

Stephen Leinen, a freshman agriculture: plant science major of Harlan, Iowa, has been selected to be part of the College Advisory Team for Iowa Corn’s 2023-24 program. He is one of 23 students selected from colleges and universities across the state of Iowa to participate in the advisory team.
Dordt’s AcWriMo is a month-long academic write-a-thon sponsored by the Hulst Library and the Kielstra Center for Research and Grants. The goal of AcWriMo is to help writers think about how they write, form a valuable support network for their writing practice, build better strategies and habits for the future, and get writing done.
