Josiah Vos, a mathematics and music: performance and pedagogy major from Sioux City, Iowa, will present a piano recital on April 18 at 2 p.m. in the Jim and Marilyn Dean Recital Hall at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½.
A public reception will follow the performance.
Vos will perform Chopin’s "Ballade No. 1" and Ravel’s "Jeux d’eau," as well as selected works by Bach, Mozart, and Bartók.
In addition to his studies, Vos accompanies the Concert Choir and 4th Avenue Jazz. Additionally, he won second place at the 2024 Bill Riley Talent Search at the Iowa State Fair. His private instructor is Dr. James March.
