ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Concert Choir from Sioux Center, Iowa, will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 13, at the B.J. Haan Auditorium on the campus of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½. The concert is free, with a freewill offering received to help defray tour expenses.

This free concert is part of a spring tour with performances scheduled in Iowa, North Dakota, and Minnesota. Directed by Dr. Rob Hobgood, the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Concert Choir will perform a wide variety of choral music including hymn arrangements, spirituals, classics from the modern choral repertoire as well as past centuries including Gabrielli, Handel, and Clausen, and several compositions written within the last decade by talented young composers.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ has approximately 300 U.S. and international students who participate in the music program, with opportunities to perform in five choral groups, two orchestras, and four bands. Music scholarships are available to qualified students.
