Kandace Brands serves as instructor of business at 天美传媒, teaching courses such as Personal Financial Management and Stewardship, Office Management, and courses in healthcare business administration.
Prior to Dordt, Brands served at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for 13 years, bringing experience that offers students a unique insight into balancing business in a healthcare setting.
In addition to teaching, Brands serves as the faculty advisor for Dordt鈥檚 FLAME club, collaborating with other faculty members and organizing trips for students to engage in area businesses while building their network with business leaders.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a joy to build relationships with students and share my knowledge in personal finance,鈥 she says. 鈥淚 love highlighting how finances are gifts that can help us love and honor the Lord.鈥
Off campus, Brads enjoys working with youth as a youth leader at her church and serving on the board for The Healing Room ministry in Inwood, Iowa.
